DECTV.TV‘s PR Department Roles and Responsibilities:
  •  Planning, Developing and Implementing PR strategies
  •  Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople
  •  Liaising with and answering inquiries from media, individuals, and other organizations often via telephone and email
  •  Creating, Writing, and Distributing Press Releases to targeted media
  •  Preparing and Supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films, and multimedia programs
  •  Working with web coordinator to update information on DECTV’s website
  •  Working with social media coordinator to update and engage with users on social media sites i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
  •  Sourcing and Managing Speaking and Sponsorship Opportunities
  •  Fostering Community Relations through events and involvement in community initiatives
  •  Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation
