EL-JAY is a powerhouse in the world of R&B, and Pop—an artist whose magnetic energy, rich vocals, and captivating presence continue to bridge generations and genres. A 2X Billboard-charting artist and 2X award winner, EL-JAY blends the timeless soul of classic R&B with a sleek, contemporary edge, crafting music that resonates deeply with audiences worldwide.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, EL-JAY’s artistic journey began in early childhood. Inspired by the legendary Michael Jackson, he began teaching himself to dance at just four years old, channeling the King of Pop’s iconic moves and developing a lifelong passion for performance. That same passion soon evolved into a multifaceted career in music and entertainment.

As the eldest son of multi-platinum artist Rome, best known for the hit “I Belong to You,” EL-JAY inherited a powerful musical lineage. Entrepreneur, artist, and multi-hyphenate creative gamechanger Sean Kiez was born in New Orleans to a father who played jazz. Raised between Milwaukee and LA, Kiez was heavily
influenced by musical elements of old-school R&B, gospel, and jazz. Influences from Tupac and the streets to soulful artists like Al Green and Michael Jackson to the culture forward artists of the new wave have shaped his growth as well as creativity. Today, Kiez is based in Texas, where he runs his empire and grows his artistry further through blending sounds of rap, soft rock, and gospel music. He continues to tap into making inspiring, motivating, and positive records. He will be releasing a music video for his song, “Trenches,” that he shot in New York. Kiez is also preparing to release a music video for “Boss Anniversary” which he shot in Miami. His upcoming single, “Boss Anniversary,” is a reminder for all bosses to celebrate
walking in their “Boss Energy” everyday. Sean Kiez is also the host of the “Pull Up N Chill” podcast which launched in 2025 and he is
prepared to turn things up a notch this year. The new installment of the podcast will officially launch in February 2026.
